Just wanted to write a quick note of thanksgiving. Sunday was my last practice and I since many of you were not present, I wanted to make sure you knew how important and formative my time in Cakalak has been.
Thanks for embracing me as a never before musician, thanks for all the faithful time and energy many you have given to this project for years and years in some cases, thanks for the continual hope you’ve had in me/in us and that I am/we are able to create a different way of being in the world…and thanks for all the fun!
I will always hold fond memories of you as I continue to make my way in this world.
Boom, beam, boom, beam, boom, beam….forever.
